Sir William Perkins’s School is seeking a proactive and analytical MIS and Data Manager to lead and develop the school’s Management Information System. Reporting to the Assistant Head of Digital Strategy and Projects, the successful candidate will manage student and staff data, ensuring it is secure, accurate, and used effectively. This is a central role within the School, supporting essential operations such as parents evening bookings, timetable imports, and data reporting. An immediate priority will be leading the complete migration and transition to a new MIS platform, managing the project from initial data preparation through to staff training and rollout while maintaining daily school operations.
The successful candidate will have previous experience managing large-scale database systems and leading end-to-end software implementations. Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel capability, and a thorough understanding of GDPR and statutory school compliance are essential, while knowledge of tools like SQL or Power BI would be advantageous. This role requires a discreet, adaptable, and solution-focused individual with excellent communication skills to work collaboratively across the school.
